TORNIE MOD
Tornie is a content mod by Tornie_Panther. It adds factions, units, structures, spice types and campaigns for every house. Play it inside Dune City, or read Tornie's own guide for the standalone Dune Legacy Tornie edition.
Tornie publishes a full guide to the mod: units, buildings, technologies, factions and modes, achievements, a player guide and a picture gallery, in English and French.
The standalone Dune Legacy Tornie edition for Windows and Linux is released on Tornie's GitHub releases.
Fremen, Sardaukar, Mercenary, Neutral, the grey Rebels and the Tharpique house join Atreides, Ordos and Harkonnen, each with its own campaign.
New vehicles such as the Flame Tank, Elite Siege Tank, Elite Launcher and Rocket Trike, plus revised special vehicles from the Palace.
Coloured spice varieties change the economy, and the map editor can place Tornie terrain, units and structures.
Tornie ships with every Dune City release as a separately selectable mod. Download Dune City or play in your browser, then choose Tornie in the Mod list when you pick your house for a Campaign or set up a Custom Game. The map editor asks for a mod too, so you can build Tornie maps.
Tornie's content only loads while Tornie is the active mod. Switching back to Vanilla, Dune City or Dune2R removes it again; your saves and settings stay where they are.
For online games, every player needs the same Dune City release and the Tornie mod selected. The standalone Dune Legacy Tornie edition is a separate game and cannot join Dune City lobbies.
Tornie's factions, campaigns, balance, graphics direction and audio direction are designed by Tornie_Panther. Report problems with Tornie inside Dune City on our Discord or as a GitHub issue.
